Why most tummy-control underwear gives up by 2pm
Nearly all of them do the same thing: one thick elastic band stretched across the front. It holds for about an hour. Then it folds over on itself, and now you have a ridge exactly where you wanted flat.
This uses a criss-cross panel instead — two wide bands pulling against each other across the front, so the tension spreads across the whole belly instead of stacking into one line.
No band means nothing to roll. That's the entire difference, and it's why it's still flat when you're unloading the dishwasher at nine at night.
The part nobody photographs
